STAUFFER: Modest man, major friend

The Jan. 9 Bill Buley feature on Dick Stauffer brought a smile to my face, as it did for many of the employees and friends of TESH Inc. I imagine Dick was too humble to have included in the article the information about his inspirational and tireless efforts for TESH Inc. He was the original architect on this building some 30 years ago when he helped this organization build the best building possible on an incredibly tight budget.

Most recently, Dick Stauffer, Anneliese Miller and Jeff Lemon were integral in the completion of the House to Home project at TESH. Dick and Anneliese walked through the facility with us and gave us permission to dream and then the means to accomplish those dreams. Jeff's help was so appreciated during the implementation. These individuals brought their minds and their hearts and gave the TESH family of individuals with disabilities, and the staff, a beautiful and functional face lift.

TESH appreciates Dick Stauffer and was so glad to see him featured. Coeur d'Alene is fortunate to have such an outstanding individual in our community.
