PRESS: Tragedy towers over tree

UNBELIEVABLE! Saturday night Jan. 8 on the 11 p.m. news I heard a little of the horrific shooting in Tucson, Ariz.

I got up early to read the Coeur d'Alene Press for details.

Much to my surprise the huge headlines were TALL TREE TALE.

Back on page 8 was the story of U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords shot and in critical condition, at least six killed including a 9-year-old child and Arizona's chief federal judge plus 20 others injured.

What was I thinking? What is more news worthy this story or which tree is the tallest?

I finally got it. One of the trees in question is on Mr. Hagadone's property. Who owns the Coeur d'Alene Press?
