POST FALLS - The Post Falls School District has received a Doing What Works grant through the U.S. Department of Education for $16,700.

Doing What Works is a U.S. Department of Education website that offers research-based education practices online.

The district will incorporate some of the practices on the Website into its current professional development plan, which includes classroom assessment practices and the development of a math screener for grades K-8.

The grant will pay for instructor fees for related classes for teachers and the development of a math screener. Post Falls was one of only 15 districts nationwide to receive the grant.
