Poll: Voters wary of CdA schools levy

If a Press online poll is indicative of actual voter sentiment, officials with Coeur d’Alene School District have some selling to do.

The most recent poll asked, “What do you think of Coeur d’Alene School District asking voters for $12.9 million a year for two years to supplement its budget?”

The response:

• 559 voters (56 percent) said “No way; that’s too much”

• 355 voters (36 percent) said “I think it’s just right”

• 80 voters (8 percent) said “No way; that’s too little”
