Turkenburg sparks Cd'A Charter

COEUR d'ALENE - Lexi Turkenburg had 11 points and eight offensive rebounds as the Coeur d'Alene Charter Panthers ran past Mt. St. Michaels 44-14 in a nonleague girls basketball game at Holy Family Catholic School on Wednesday.

"Our defensive intensity was there tonight," Coeur d'Alene Charter coach Logan Grant said. "We were a little sluggish on offense, but we were able to get the ball out and score in bunches."

Paige Kelly had 10 points and 11 rebounds and Brittany Urbaniak six rebounds for Coeur d'Alene Charter (12-4), which travels to Orofino on Feb. 22.

NOTE: A nonleague boys basketball game between the Post Falls JV and Lakeside in Plummer, as well as an Intermountain League wrestling match between Kellogg and St. Maries were postponed due to snow.

No makeup date was announced for either contest.
