Friday

6:11 a.m.: Damages of $200 were reportedly done to the entrance door at a business located in the 6900 block of North Pleasant View Road near Post Falls. A gray safe, cash and business checks with a total value of about $500 were reported stolen from the building.

Troy S. Gerard, 52, Haugan, Mont.: Three years determinate penitentiary time and four years indeterminate time with credit for time served, retained jurisdiction and driver's license suspended for one year for driving under the influence.

Michael P. James, 38, Athol: Four years determinate penitentiary time and 15 years indeterminate time with credit for time served, $1,565.50 in fines and $21,661.21 restitution for attempted drug trafficking in methamphetamine amphetamine by manufacturing, three counts of grand theft, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and malicious injury to property.
