Patricia 'Patty' Young, 62

Patricia "Patty" Young crossed over on Dec. 28, 2010. She was born in Joplin, Mo., on Feb. 3, 1948.

She traveled a lot when she was younger due to her father being in the military before the family settled in Omaha, Neb., where she gave birth to her only child, Kelly Hamilton in 1970. The family then moved to the Coeur d'Alene area permanently in 1976.

Patty loved walking on Tubbs Hill, attending local community events such as Art on the Green, Car d'Lane and the Kootenai County Farmers Market. Going on drives and spending time with her friends was also something she loved.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter and all who knew and loved her. She touched many with her smile and funny, caring nature.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sargent Major Paul Hamilton; mother Juanita "Pat" Hamilton and husband Patrick "Pat" Young.
