Rolland W. Biggs, 62

July 28, 1948 - Jan. 6, 2011

After a brief battle with lung cancer Rolland passed into the arms of his maker at his home in Bayview.

Rolland was born in Fresno, Calif., to Nathan and Norma Lewis. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He married Donna Dean on Nov. 5, 2005, in Coeur d'Alene.

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and a friend to all he met. He was preceded in death by his dad, Nathan Lewis; brother Raymond and great-nephew.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Biggs; his mother, Norma Lewis; two sons, Bill and Casey; four daughters, Tina, Sheila, Melisa and Tawnea; loving daughter-in-law Lilly; loving son-in-law Jeff; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandson and three more great-grandchildren on the way; seven siblings, Linda, Sybil, Joyce, Sue, Diane, Nate Jr. and Norman. He was loved by all his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Sweet dreams my love.

The family will be doing a small get together at their home in Bayview. A memorial service will be held in Redway, Calif., at a later date. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in charge of the arrangements.
