PF Senior Center reschedules activities

      Post Falls Senior Citizens Center will be relocating many services and meetings temporarily while the center is being renovated due to flood damage. The center is still open from 8-5pm, Monday through Friday. For information call 773-9582.

      The following is a list of activities that have been rescheduled or temporarily moved to new locations:

          o Lunch for seniors has been moved to Garden Plaza at Post Falls, 545 North Garden Plaza; Mon., Wed., and Fri. Doors open at 11am, Meals at noon.

          o Meals on Wheels will resume regular schedule, with meals prepared by Garden Plaza. The advertised Post Falls Senior Center menu is subject to change.

          o The Bread and Pastry Room is still open at the Senior Center.

          o The Senior Thrift Store is open Mon. through Fri. from 8am to 5pm.

          o The Senior Center Tuesday Dances will be held at Garden Plaza. Doors open at 6pm and dancing at 7pm.

          o Red Hat Ladies meet at the Post Falls Library, first Monday each month at 1pm.

          o Sundowners Travel Club meets at the Senior Center on the 3rd Monday at 1pm.

          o Post Falls Seniors Activities Committee meets at the Senior Center on the 3rd Monday at 2pm.

          o Senior Center Board of Directors meet on Jan. 11 at 9am in the HR Training Room in Post Falls City Hall.

          o Tops meets at 8:30 on Thursdays at the Senior Center.

          o The Garden Club meets on the 3rd Wed. at 6pm at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1011 N. Compton St.

          o The Post Falls Lions will meet at Hunters Café Banquet Room at 6pm on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Wednesday of each month.

          o For information on Bingo and Senior Center classes on CPR, Tai Chi, and Computer classes call the Senior Center for information.

          o Last but not to be forgotten The Board of Directors and myself would like to thank all of those who have called to help and for their patience during this time.  We are very Thankful to live in a community that works together when something like this happens. - Alison McArthur, executive director
