Crystal M. (Christine) Corder, 46

| January 10, 2011 11:53 AM

Crystal M. (Christine) Corder, 46, Coeur d'Alene, was called to her eternal home, Jan. 5, 2011.

She was born May 24, 1964, in Portland, Ore., to Louis ( Tony) and Ruby Wagner.

Because her father worked as a lineman, Christine lived in various small towns around the northwest until finally settling in Coeur d'Alene in 1975 when she was 11 years old.

She attended Borah Elementary, Canfield Jr. High and Coeur d'Alene High School.

She married her first husband, Kelly Wang, shortly after high school, and lived in Washington and California while he was in the Navy.

She returned to Coeur d'Alene, with her daughter, K.C., when her first marriage ended.

On Dec. 18, 1992, Christine married Jack Corder and they made their home in the Coeur d'Alene area.

She was employed at Center Partners, where she worked side by side with Jack, for the past several years.

Chris liked the outdoors, enjoying camping and fishing on area rivers with her family. Late summer she would return from the huckleberry patches, sun burnt, blue stained and all smiles.

She was a devoted wife and mother, always putting family first. If you were the "little guy" she was always in your corner.

Christine is survived by her husband, Jack, Coeur d'Alene; daughter K.C. Corder, Rathdrum; brother and sister-in-law David and Mary Wagner, Coeur d'Alene; brother Richard Hayes and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel. Please visit Christine's memorial and sign her online guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
