Ray and Pat Pollard
50th Anniversary
Ray and Pat Pollard will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 7, 2011. They were married Jan. 7, 1961, in Spokane.
They have two daughters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ray worked for GTE and is now retired. Pat is a homemaker.
They celebrated with family.

Patrick Youmans and Angela Krieg are proud to announce their engagement to be married on Aug. 20, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene.
MILESTONE BIRTHDAY
LeRoy Monroe Hensyel
100th Birthday
Open House from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at Sylvan House in Hayden.
LeRoy Monroe Hensyel celebrates his 100th birthday! At the age of 17, he drove himself and parents in a Model T out of the Iowa dustbowl depression all the way to Oregon for a new start in the lumber mills. The only way he could make it up hills was by driving backward up them!
LeRoy and his wife Grace were Missionaries their whole life. They started more than 150 churches which are mostly still going! They started in the Northwest working with the natives, loved Alaska and worked there during the '50s and '60s and worked more than 35 years in Mexico. So many adventures... so many miracles... He is smart, funny and lively. LeRoy's secret of longevity is having a good relationship with God. His favorite saying is "Keep Lookin' Up!"
He is a "national treasure!"

Zachary Owen Bolyard was born at 4:16 p.m. Dec. 20, 2010, to Crystal A. and Daniel P. Bolyard of Hayden. He weighed 7 lbs. 14.8 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. Sister is Mandy Rachelle Bolyard. Maternal grandparents are Nancy Herold and Steve Stadtfeld. Paternal grandparents are Robin Egbert and Greg Bolyard.
Brian William Hensley was born at 3 p.m. Dec. 27, 2010, to Patricia D. and Alan L. Hensley of Rathdrum. He weighed 8 lbs. and was 21 inches long. Brothers are Andrew and Mason. Maternal grandparents are William and Debi Cunningham. Paternal grandparents are Brian and Bettie Hensley.
Tucker Douglas Thompson was born at 8:49 p.m. Dec. 27, 2010, to Jennifer and Jeb Thompson of Hayden. He weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Barbara Edwards and Darrell McGrath. Paternal grandparents are Bob and Cathy Thompson.
Ryker Thor Van Doren was born at 3:25 a.m. Dec. 30, 2010, to Stephanie and Stephen Van Doren of Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Brent Fritze and Melissa Faraca Holden. Paternal grandparents are Doug and Char Van Doren, and Tammy and Jumbo Malsack.
5 GENERATIONS
Five generations of the Deem and Shea families gathered together to celebrate Christmas at the home of grandmother Deborah Shea.
