Talent show benefits students

RATHDRUM - Riverbend Academy health students will host the "Kootenai's Got Talent" fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 14, from 6-9 p.m. at the Lakeland High commons.

Proceeds from the talent show will go toward Riverbend's Health Occupations Students of America program.

Students from the Lakeland, Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene school districts attend the academy.

Tickets are $3 for children ages 3 to 6, $4 for students and seniors, $5 for adults, $10 for a family of four or more. Children younger than 3 are free.

There will be cash prizes for the top three places. Auditions are Tuesday at the Lakeland High commons from 2:40-5 p.m. Participants should bring their music.

There will also be concessions and raffles.

Tickets will be sold at the door.
