Rick William Watson, 51

Rick William Watson, 51, passed away Dec. 24, 2010, of health and heart complications. He was born March 5, 1959, in Kellogg to George and Peggy Watson. He was the second of four boys. He grew up and attended school in Coeur d'Alene.

Rick loved life, mostly in the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, rafting, car races, car shows and working on cars, all while listening to his favorite "Funk" '70s music.

Rick is survived by his mom, Peggy Watson; his two children, Casey Watson and his wife Sara, Brittany Schorzman; two grandchildren; his three brothers, George Watson and wife Charlotte, Jay Watson and wife Crystal, Donnie Watson and wife Sherrie; and his love and fiancee Shirley Jacobs.

His dad, George Watson, preceded him in death. Also grandparents Manley and Jennie Watson, grandmother Geneieve Daniels.

No funeral services will be held. We are having a celebration in his honor this summer at his favorite camping spot at Graham Creek (up the Coeur d'Alene River). Announcement for details will be posted in the Coeur d'Alene Press at a later date.
