Milic Milojevic, 66

Milic Milojevic, 66, of Hayden, passed away Jan. 1, 2011, at home. Milic was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Krusevac, Serbia, to Branimir and Branislava Milojevic.

He moved to El Segundo, Calif., in 1956, where he attended and finished high school. He then went on to El Camino College, worked at various Volkswagen dealers and then opened his own auto repair shop, Auto Tehnika.

In 1986, he and his family relocated to Hayden where he continued to operate Auto Tehnika. Milic enjoyed spending his free time wrenching on cars and other machinery, as well as spending time and talking with friends and family. Entertaining those around him with his tall tales and amusing jokes made him happiest.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Milan.

Survivors include his son, Branimir and daughter-in-law Jelena of El Segundo; son Ljubisa of Coeur d'Alene and daughter Aneta of Missoula, Mont. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 4718 E. Horsehaven Ave., Post Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are sent to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
