Priest River tops Lakeland

PRIEST RIVER - Keefer Peterson scored a season-high 24 points on 10 of 11 shooting as the Spartans defeated Lakeland 72-43 in non-league action Monday.

Max Salesky scored 14 points and Eric Holbrook added 10 assists for Priest River (7-3), which travels to Sandpoint on Friday.

Hunter Arno led the way with 11 points and Daniel Whitesitt scored nine for the Hawks (1-9, 0-1 IEL).

Lakeland hosts Colville on Saturday.
