Jacquie Lee (Bishop) Crowe, 78

Jacquie Lee (Bishop) Crowe, 78, was born Oct. 13, 1932, to Ralph and Pearl Bishop in Long Beach, Calif. She died Dec. 28, 2010, in Coeur d'Alene.

She was raised in Iowa for most of her childhood years and later returned to California. On Nov. 24, 1949, she married Amos Crowe Jr. and they settled and started raising a family in China Lake, Calif.

In 1965, she moved her family to the St. Maries/Harrison area were she continued to raise her family. In the early 1980s she moved to the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls area and was a certified nurses aide.

Jacquie enjoyed dancing, bingo, fishing and playing marbles with her friends. Her family will remember her, for her big family breakfasts on the weekends and her great sense of humor. She was a very loving and kind woman, and above everything the most important thing to her was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Richard and Stephen Crowe, both of St. Maries, Kenneth Crowe of Grenada, Miss., Keith Crowe of Atoka, Tenn., John Crowe of Vancouver, Wash., Sharon Hoffman of Yakima, Wash., and Merry Crowe. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Micheal Eugene Crowe in 1991; her daughter, Cathleen Marie Crowe in 1953; her father and mother, Ralph and Pearl Bishop and two brothers Ralph Jr. and Richard Bishop.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
