Suzi Love Carr, 48

May 30, 1962 - Feb. 24, 2011

Our beloved Suzi was born in Logan, Utah, on May 30, 1962, and passed away peacefully to join with her mother, Joyce Elaine Wigen and eternal Father in the early morning of Feb. 24, 2011, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene.

She was raised in the Seattle area and graduated from Seattle Prep High School in 1979.

After graduation, she studied hotel and restaurant management in Menominee, Wis., and worked at various hotels, resorts and restaurants in Menominee and Coeur d'Alene.

Suzi married Carl Allan Carr on Aug. 20, 2006, in Reno, Nev.

Suzi is survived by her husband, Carl; son Austin Button of Phoenix, Ariz.; father Brett Schormann; stepfather George Wigen; sister Sally Trocano; brother Brett Schormann Jr.; stepdaughters Lindsey and Nadine Carr; stepson Alex Carr; step-granddaughters Mia and Lucy Carr; nieces Sara and Lauren Trocano, Megan Schormann; and nephew David Schormann.

Suzi was a loving mother who enjoyed traveling with her husband Carl (especially to Mexico), collecting snowmen, holidays, golf, NASCAR racing, stained glass, gardening and getting to know people. Her family and friends will truly miss her, a lovely, caring woman with bright blue eyes who could light up any room with her beautiful smile.

A celebration of Suzi's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the Coeur d'Alene Eagles Lodge. Please bring a dish and memories to share.
