McEUEN: Playground for the year 'round

I have the perfect plan for McEuen Field. Let's make it a summer/winter haven for our kids. Let's put in a huge skating rink on the field for winter! How beautiful with the lake and Tubbs Hill in the background.

The plan would be much more "Coeur d'Alene" and "Idaho" than a "strolling park" and no need for underground parking - and inexpensive.

And our "Freedom Tree" dedicated 40 or 50 years ago as symbolic of our service men and women to come home safe and sound. To cut it down to make way for a fountain would be sacrilegious.

A public vote is the only fair solution.
