Underhill is Builder of the Year

Rod Underhill of Underhill Construction recently received the Idaho Building Contractors Association Builder of the Year award.

Underhill was nominated by the North Idaho Building Contractors Association.

"He contributes an enormous amount of time and energy on behalf of the association and its members," said Tim Timmins of Eagle Ridge Builders. "Rod recognizes the importance of the association and is a major advocate of "Doing Business with a Member.""

Underhill is the current president of the NIBCA and has been a member since 1986. He is also chair of several of the association's committees. Underhill is also heavily involved in Boy Scouts, a member of Lakeland Booster Club and has volunteered countless hours to various community causes.

"Rod always jumps in when it comes time to take action, do the work, make the phone calls," Timmins said. "He is a committed member of the NIBCA and very deserving of this award."
