CHOCOLATE: Press missed great event
This event was one of the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association's best events with a lot of local support. Thanks to all who came out after hours to make this a huge success. The contest for Best Chocolate was a great idea. Advertising in The Press was really good. Also thanks to all businesses who stayed open to support this event.
However, there was no coverage at all from the Coeur d'Alene Press in regard to the contestants making the chocolates nor the outcome of the voting for the best chocolates of the night. The Downtown Association, I am sure, has spent a lot of money for advertising in the Coeur d'Alene Press. My point in writing this is to bring light to a positive event at night in downtown Coeur d'Alene. The Press does not hesitate to write negative articles about downtown; why can't they bring something positive to the locals and support the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association as the association supports the Coeur d'Alene Press with every event.
