Jack M. Thompson, 76

Jack M. Thompson passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, of natural causes at Deaconess Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1934, in Portland, Ore.

Father of eight, grandfather and great-grandfather of almost 30 kids. He was a school teacher that moved from Boise to Coeur d'Alene in 1979 because of his love for the Coeur d'Alene area. A musician his entire life, Thompson was a part of many musicals, plays and concerts as a director and player. Jack also served as a board member for the Rathdrum school district. He was 76.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Mountain Lakes Bible Church, 2215 N. Seventh St., Coeur d'Alene.
