POEM: Count your miracles

Christmas Miracles

During this Christmas season

I noticed the reflection of snow covered mountains

On still, smooth water.

I wondered if my reflection on Earth

is what God would have me be?

I asked for a miracle to guide me.

The Miracle of Giving...

Can bring a special joy

When I look into the eyes of another

And give them my heart.

The Miracle of Forgiveness...

Makes our problems seem small

Knowing the gifts of the season are temporary.

Try to forgive the heartache

Enjoy the rewards for a moment

Then turn to each other and be grateful.

The Miracle of Gratitude...

Helps us to live in grace

No matter what happens today,

Peace will surround our hearts

And we can give that away.

The Miracle of Love...

Is the pathway to all other miracles.

Caress the world with thoughts of tender appreciation

Remember your dreams

Have the courage to walk toward that vision

By giving love, seeing love and being only love.

Surrender to the Divine

And embrace the love that will grow beyond imaging.
