GIFT: Angels can wear badges, too
If you are ever told that angels don't walk among us ... don't believe it. I went to Walmart Thursday night because I think I am getting sick and needed some medicine and then dropped my Christmas cards at the post office and came home. Then I realized I didn't have my wallet.
I went back to Walmart and the assistant manager from the customer service department was rude and yelled at me because evidently I was waiting for her in the wrong place and told me, "I already have your number and I will call you if it is turned in."
I drove to the post office and didn't find it there, so I just came home and called the bank and canceled my debit card and everything else they needed to do, when the doorbell rang. There stood a sheriff's deputy with my wallet in his hand! The poor guy probably thought I was totally weird when I grabbed him and started kissing him and telling him how much I loved him. My emotions just got the better of me. Now, I have taken my meds and am going to bed.
Thank you God for letting the angels walk among us. Merry Christmas whoever you were that found my wallet. I will say a prayer for you tonight.
