DEMS: Survey deceives citizens

I just received a most disgusting, dishonest and biased questionnaire and request for a donation from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Someone receiving this missile and not knowing what is really going on in Washington might be taken in by its lies.

Example: "Do you oppose the decision by the House Republicans to END MEDICARE (emphasis added), while protecting tens of millions of dollars in subsidies for big oil." I do not recall any proposals to end Medicare. Sure, there are needed proposals to fix it before it goes bankrupt, but not to end it. I have also heard comments about cutting the oil subsidies.

Example: "Do you think if more Americans knew about Republican plans to end Medicare and privatize Social Security they would join the Democratic Party's efforts to oppose these plans." Another deceitful question. Privatizing Social Security might not be a bad idea giving that the Democrats and Republicans have just about bankrupted both operations.

I think this type of letter/fund request just furthers my opinion that the Democratic Party has lost all sense of honesty and integrity and that is a very sad and troublesome situation.
