RENT: Nothing wrong with variety

| December 16, 2011 8:00 PM

When I found out Lake City Playhouse was putting on a production of "RENT," I was pretty happy until I read the responses from the community. It ticks me off that people could say that "LGBT lifestyle isn't normal." Some of the greatest and most successful people I know are homosexual or transgender. Love is love, no matter what the gender! I'm a teenager, and I've got more sense than that.

I'm sick of this world being so anti-diversity. It's just sexuality, get over it! It's not like love between a man and a man or woman and woman should affect you. We are here on this Earth to succeed and live life, not to get our panties in bunches over a play exposing varieties of love.

"RENT" is a wonderful play with delightful songs, and I'm planning on seeing it.
