Carla Mae Dewitt, 55

Carla Mae Dewitt, 55, passed away Dec. 12, 2011, at Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene. Carla was born in Polson, Mont., on May 16, 1956, to Richard McBroom and Elsie Gingras. Carla grew up in Polson and eventually moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She lived in towns all across Oregon including Springfield, The Dalles, Umatilla, Corvallis, Gresham and many others. Carla eventually settled in Coeur d'Alene as she loved to take walks by the lake. Carla's other hobbies included Motocross racing, reading and watching her Oregon Ducks. 

Carla is survived by her husband, Jerry Dewitt; and her sons, James and Jeremy with wife Katie and grandson Aaron. She had two brothers, Willie and Dean; and three sisters, Chuckie, Gail and Linda.
