Michael Maeder, 54

MAEDER, Michael "Mike" Leroy, 54, passed away on Dec. 12, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene. The youngest of three, he was born Nov. 13, 1957, to Joseph and Betty Rose Maeder.

Mike was the father of six children: Eva, Sarah, Betty, Mary, Jerre and Patrick and always with Catherine Raddatz, ex-wife and lifetime partner.

The surviving family includes his father, only brother, Cathy and all his children.

He was a man with a big heart who struggled to show it and a "to hell with it" attitude.

He loved his family, music, guitar, and making things with his hands.

He was a one-of-a-kind man, never to be replaced, but always remembered and loved by all.

He is upstairs frowning on us; probably saying "Don't cry! It's a waste of time! Drink a beer and listen to Uncle Jimmy!" We love you. This one's for you.
