$100K donated for Moscow rink

MOSCOW - The manager of the Palouse Ice Rink said an anonymous benefactor has pledged to donate $100,000 to expand the rink, if county officials agree to give the rink a 50-year lease to use Latah County Fairgrounds land.

Manager Bryan Hawn said legal counsel for the Latah County Commission is reviewing the proposal and it will be discussed by the Latah County Fair Board as well.

The three-quarter-size sheet rink opened in 2001.
