RENT: Rant was unenlightened

You are an affront to the citizens of this fine city, what century are you living in? This is the 21st century; people should be tolerant of other cultures and ways of life by now!

No one appreciates you imposing your backward beliefs on the rest of us. I cannot stand you Bible-thumpers, thinking you know it all! My family moved up here thinking this was a nice place to raise our children but it's unenlightened small-minded people like you that make me ashamed to be a human!

Please do not tell people what they should and shouldn't do. What gives you the right to inflict your prudish ideas onto others? "RENT" is a very good musical; it's entertaining and has great songs. Why do you think it won all those Tony awards, huh?

Why don't you take your ultra religious beliefs to Utah - I'm sure they'll welcome you there. I know a lot of very productive and compassionate people who are gay and lesbian and yes... even a drag queen or two who are very well respected members of the community and I would rather have them in my life than the likes of you! You are a very sad person. It's too bad you can't open your mind a teensy bit; you might find these people very giving and friendly. And I'm sure God or whoever would welcome them into Heaven just as much as you, so please lady... GET OVER YOURSELF!
