Charlotte Mae LaFountain, 87

Charlotte Mae LaFountain, 87, passed away Dec. 2, 2011. She was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Pierre, S.D., to Charles and Effie Edwards.

Charlotte grew up in Bonners Ferry with her four sisters and one brother. It was there, on Aug. 3, 1946, she married Kenneth LaFountain. She loved gardening, the outdoors and crossword puzzles, but above all, she loved her family. Charlotte will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Sharon) LaFountain, Terry (Robin) LaFountain and Ed LaFountain; daughters, Vicki (Jim) Crowley and Sue (Dave) Pileggi; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, who passed March 10, 1996.
