SANTA: You thought it was just a fable?
Years ago my mother told me the true story of the real Santa Claus.
Many years ago in Norway there resided an elderly man by the name of Nickolas Claus. He was very wealthy and wished to share his riches with the people down below. The people there were poor and their homes in the village were all snowed in, so they could not get out to buy food, clothing and fuel and they were so cold and desperate, so Mr. Claus hooked up his reindeer to this large sleigh and went from house to house, dropping their needs down each chimney to chimney and saving the people's lives.
In later years they began to call him Santa Claus and that's how it all came about. I've never forgotten the story and it is true and today I am 80 years old and I still believe in Santa Claus.
I wanted to share this true story to all of you who read this and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
