PLEDGE: You owe only your nation

An open letter to the Idaho U.S. representatives and senators:

I would like to know if you have signed the pledge by Grover Norquist not to raise taxes. If you have signed the pledge then you may submit your resignation now.

Upon entering office you signed the oath to uphold the Constitution of the U.S.A., not a pledge to a lobbyist from D.C. You are not representing the citizens of Idaho by such a pledge.

I signed the pledge to uphold and defend the Constitution twice, once as a U.S. Army soldier and as an employee of the census. Never did I sign a pledge to a private individual and the lobbyist he represented.

Shame on you Republicans for such behavior. Those who voted you in will see the light one day.
