Ivan Wesley Groth, 37

Ivan Wesley Groth passed away at home Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011. Ivan was born in Coeur d'Alene on July 7, 1974.

He graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1992. He worked for many years at Life Care Center of Coeur d'Alene as an Assistant Activity Director. He loved listening to his clients memories and sharing jokes. Ivan was loved by his friends for his laughter, his caring unique personality and practical jokes.

Ivan leaves his mother and father, Jeri and Gerry Groth; his brother, Nick; sister-in-law Kelley and three nephews. Ivan also had a special place in his heart for Debbie and Cassie.

A celebration of Ivan's life will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at his parents' home at 2821 E. Seasons Road, Athol.
