Patrick L. Sims, 59

Patrick L. Sims, 59, began a new journey with the Lord on Aug. 17, 2011, at home in Coeur d'Alene. He joined mother Mabel, father Jessie and brothers, Jerry, Jack and Ron.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Paula Sims; brothers and sisters, Joy, Betty, Marilyn, Ben, Bill, Sam and Mike; step-children, Lindell, Christi and Robert; "the babies," Cassy, Gabby and Courtney; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved.

He wants to be remembered as an excellent carpenter, loving and faithful husband. As his wife wants everyone to know how deep their love ran. She is grateful for the years of loving and living with her soul mate. They shared the depth of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that kept their marriage strong.

He would like his family to know the joy and freedom he is now experiencing with the other family members that went before him and with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To all who read this, let no unforgivingness toward each other dwell in your hearts.

At this time, no services will be held. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
