TEA: Thanks for nothing, folks

Tea party lovers should be rejoicing. They have managed to stop the government from collecting taxes on airline flights. That stops the government from taking hard earned money out of the pockets of citizens. But wait, the airlines raised their fees by the same amount so now $200 million more a week are going into the pockets of big biz.

For the consumer (that would be the people Tea party lovers are saving from the clutches of big, bad government) they have managed to shut down 75,000 jobs, reduce air traffic safety, halt infrastructure improvement and enrich the already rich.

This fiasco pretty much sums up the Tea party lovers' approach to governing.
