LETTER: Message delivered perfectly

I want to thank Daniel Brannan for taking the time to express his opinion about the Ganesha controversy in the My Turn column. The tone of his column speaks volumes about the values he is defending.

I frequently read vituperative letters to the editor from people who want to change North Idaho and consider writing a rebuttal, only to find myself falling into the trap of wanting to respond in kind. Mr. Brannan did everyone a service by clearly pointing out what we love about this place and doing it in a reasoned and well written way. Thank you!
