A broad world view

For the past few months I have noted with pleasure the broader coverage (world) of the news in The Press. I should have known that this change did not evolve, but was the result of design by the intelligent people of responsibility in management. By intelligent design, as it were! Thank you for doing this.

This letter is to express thanks to you and the many thinking and discriminating people who have taken the time, energy and have been motivated to express grave concern about the direction that our country is headed. They aptly stated the case that we are in deep trouble because of a vacuum of leadership and the assuming or assigning of power to men and women who by their actions and decisions are either naively or purposely destroying our beloved country in our time! At the same time you print letters that hold the opposite view in spite of mountains of evidence against their rantings and ravings. In Sunday's paper there is an irrational, uninformed, mob mindset condemnation of the Tea Party. It must be certain that the writer of this has not attended any of their meetings, so is totally ignorant of how the groups conduct themselves or what we believe.

Let it be said, sir, that those going to the rallies are not rabble rousers but Americans who probably never would have gathered, except because of what they see happening. They are people of all political parties who care about the longevity of our Land and the condition in which we leave it to our descendants. They are those who see our God-given Liberties being eroded to the point where we have already lost, some say, 95 percent of those given in the Bill of Rights. Will we lose them all, or will we stand up to preserve them and be done with those who don't truly love the America which the Founders gave us?

I have been reading about the French Revolution. Some have said that it was similar to ours. Those who hold this idea must not know that the French Revolution was Satanic, guided by mob rule. The salient point of their revolt was mob (mass) action to destroy the ruling class, the Church, all of the foundations of society including marriage, destruction of records, are, history, churches and buildings and killing indiscriminately half of the population of Paris and throughout France, lasting at least 10 years.

Then the leaders of the Revolution (nearly all of them) were also killed, and then the next set of leaders, and so on, senselessly! After one particularly blood thirsty day, one of the supporters of the Revolution, Madam Roland said "What charming freedom we now enjoy in Paris." God was completely removed from the thinking of the masses (mobs). Compare that to America. The Colonists had repeatedly petitioned the King for peaceful changes - for the ability to have representation - and only after nearly 200 years of not being heard, did the Tea Party happen. (By the way, in 1773, as Gov. Palin stated correctly!) Even then, only on one occasion could it have been said that the Colonists acted like a mob. I would like to recommend that people read some of the works about the French Revolution by Jeremy Rabkin, professor at Cornell University, who probably is the world's expert about that historical debacle! In order to understand mass hysteria and mob action another source by Gustave Le Bon who was a French physician and social psychologist writing the "The Crowd; A Study of The Popular Mind" is Gustave LeBon who was a French physician, scientist and social psychologist, writing in his book "The Crowd, a Study of the Popular Mind," first writer about mass pysychology. After reading his book, it can be seen how this mob effect allowed the regimes of Russia, Germany, Italy and all socialist dictatorships to overthrow governments and the foundations of society, Church, marriage and family. We see this in current history in Africa and in the Middle East where anarchy exists.

One only needs to read or listen to the day-to-day news to see that America is descending into this pit of self-destruction. One group of people has large, organized, uncontrolled rallies where people are injured, property is destroyed and where the disruption of normal routine of life or government is their hallmark. That group is not the Tea Party, and it is not the Conservatives. This destructive group does not think. Their goal is violence, terror and destruction. These elements are among us and they do not care who gets hurt as long as they prevail. I have been called a fool by members of this group - or that I would take us back to before the 1860s. Not true, but this is the spirit that fosters mob action.

The French Revolution was totally based on the wants and demands of man in chaos. The American Revolution was based on God and was orderly maneuvered by God-fearing men, our Founding Fathers.

A well respected author has written a book recently "A Nation Without God" describing Nazi Germany. It graphically describes a country that abandons God. Are we destined to repeat history? The Psalmist wrote "Blessed is the people whose God is the Lord." Our Country is being pushed to the crossroads by those whose God is not the Lord.

His name is Satan - to whom Saul Olinsky dedicated his book, "Handbook for Radicals." "The first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom - Lucifer." The God (god) who prevails holds the fate of America. Do you care? Are you part of the mob? Or are you a builder?

As stated earlier, I am bewildered that nearly half of our population chooses not to critically think or to thoroughly evaluate what is happening to us. Half of the people who read this will blow all this information off as just the ramblings of a "feeble-minded right wing nut!" To the contrary, I am a Christian who reads his Bible, has read and keeps a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, including the Bill of Rights, handy. All I seek is a government which follows that document which Leadership has sworn to defend, and the freedom which it gives to you and to me!
