GUNS: Answer is call to arms
When you take a look at the shootings in Norway, one has to be repulsed at the tragedy and the madman who committed this heinous crime.
On the other hand, one should wake up and smell the roses in regard to gun control, registration and any other gun restrictions in this country.
Most all do-gooders and the touchy-feely crowed think all law-abiding citizens should be deprived of their gun rights. If the people of Norway had had the right to own and bear arms, there would have been much less carnage. No one can completely stop a madman determined to kill, but it can be limited.
The terrorist scum at Fort Brag who killed so many would have been stopped quicker had the soldiers on base been permitted to carry arms on base. We send them around the world to kill our enemies and we don't trust them with a pistol on our bases. How dumb is that?
The teacher in the college who was holding the door while his students got out through the windows could very well have shot that nut if he had been allowed to carry a gun, and on and on the story goes. Have you ever heard of a criminal turning in his gun at one of those volunteer collection points? Never happen!
I just wish more could understand the concept, "Outlaw guns and only outlaws will have guns." Is that concept too complicated?
