Christopher Knox Waddell, 36
Loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on July 31, 2011, after a three-year battle with cancer. Chris was born in Newport Beach, Calif., where he lived until he was 12 years old when his family moved to Brush Prairie, Wash.
After graduating from Prairie High School he went to the University of Idaho where he was a Beta Theta Pi and met the love of his life, Kristin Norton. They married July 18, 1998, and moved to Coeur d'Alene where Chris became a financial adviser. Chris and Kristin have been active members of Real Life Ministries in Post Falls.
Chris has always had a very loving and gentle way about him and a deep faith in our Lord. He had a wonderful personality and was loved by all. He loved his family deeply. Chris was an outdoorsman, loving hunting, fishing, the lake but most of all playing sports with his children.
He leaves behind his wife, Kristin; sons Connor and Kyle and daughter Brooklynn. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Pamela Waddell; sisters Jennifer Waddell and Meredith McNair (Cory). He also leaves behind their very special friend and "Auntie" Ethel Schoenborn.
