Jon L. Pilati

Jon L. Pilati (1961 - 2011) died at home after a brief illness. He was born in Red Lodge, Mont., and spent two years in Finland before moving with his family to Coeur d'Alene, where he attended schools and graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School. He also took advantage of several courses offered by North Idaho College.

He spent a few years in the insurance field before he followed his interest in cars, selling both new and used vehicles. He also investigated other occupational lines that intrigued him.

Jon is survived by his mother, Leona Hassen of Coeur d'Alene; his father, Paul Pilati of Red Lodge and a score of close relatives and friends. There will be a memorial gathering in the early summer.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
