PRESS: Headline was sensationalistic

Your headline of Monday's Press further exemplifies your emphasis on sensationalism rather than substance. Editors had a choice of sensitivity versus sensationalism in the tragic mine accident and subsequent recovery of Larry Marek. Sensationalism bordering on yellow journalism was chosen.
A family, friends and mining community are mourning the loss of Larry. This mourning of a fine father, husband, friend, son, brother and outdoorsman should have been emphasized rather than the bold headlines that were chosen.

Editor's note: The main headline was "Trapped miner found dead," and the sub-headline was "Man was buried when ground collapsed nine days ago."
