MILITARY: Deny the liberal slant

| April 27, 2011 10:00 PM

I find Cecil Kelly's letter about the military and its justice system completely false, misleading and disgusting.

In the first place, if an enlisted man gets involved with an Officer's wife, he could face adultery charges under the UCMJ and, after punishment, be rightfully transferred.

If an Officer gets involved with an enlisted man, the enlisted man only has to report it to his Command Enlisted Advisor, whose only chain of command is the Commanding Officer. That Officer will face charges of adultery, fraternization and conduct unbecoming an officer. There is no way he will be allowed to stay in the military. Unlike the liberal world of Mr. Kelly, the honor code of the military prevails.

The premises that truthful complaints against senior enlisted or officer's will result in forever dirty jobs is usually reserved as an excuse by the constant screw-up.

It's ironic that Mr. Kelly has the right to condemn those who sacrificed for his free speech rights. I haven't seen any harsh words for the Muslims being tried, or sympathy for the victims of their acts. The liberal view is that the Muslims who hate the Constitution we live by should be afforded the same rights of an American citizen.

Obama apologized for our overreaction to Pearl Harbor and the Bataan Death March. He did the same for the war with Hitler, as they only gassed a few million non-liberal Jews.

It should be clear to most people that liberals are angry that our military who are serving honorably, veterans and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice are getting positive response and the respect of most Americans.

Unfortunately for the liberals, most see through their jealousy for lack of attention. Their freedoms were free for them and the lack of moral standing to condemn our warrior's who made the sacrifice for those freedoms is cowardly.

In any response to this letter, it should be known that my family's military service dates back to service with Washington's Army, and service in all major conflicts.
