McEUEN: Website needs some help

| April 24, 2011 10:00 PM

If the McEuenPark.com website is an indicator of the capabilities of its planners and their respect for the local citizens, Coeur d'Alene is in trouble. The printing is so small and dim as to render it almost unintelligible. The pictures of the proposed project switch around with no prompts and are equally difficult to understand. There are no numbers for the dollar costs, either itemized or total.

If any business using the city planners methods attempted to convince investors in a proposed capital expenditure costing even a small fraction of what this project entails, that business would be laughed out of the bank. But as the City Council has repeatedly stated the decision to spend thousands or millions of your dollars on such an overhaul rests in their hands and their hands alone. Such a deal.
