EYESORE: Will somebody step up?

There is an eyesore in our otherwise beautiful downtown area at the southeast corner of Seventh and Sherman. A Mexican fast food restaurant was torn down to make room for an ill-planned office building which stalled financially.

Now a weeded lot, with a partially-filled hole surrounded by a chain-link fence is what residents and visitors see along Sherman Avenue. The owners have not been responsive. Can anything be done for this blight on our neighborhood?
