LeeRoy B. Shofner, 63

LeeRoy B. Shofner, 63, of Post Falls, passed away April 8, 2011. LeeRoy was born in Cut Bank, Mont., on Aug. 27, 1947. He was the son of E.B. Shofner and Ruth (Brewer) Shofner. Both are deceased.

On Aug 9, 1975, LeeRoy married Jerrilou. They were married for 35 years.

He was a courier driver for 25 years and was currently employed at the city of Post Falls Street Department.

He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and loved spending time with his family and close friends. He loved teaching his grandchildren new things.

He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law.

He is survived by his wife; daughters Brandie (Post Falls) Crystal and Cameron (Post Falls); grandchildren Shawntel Shofner, Leslie Deubner, Shylo Deubner, Karlie and James Moore; mother-in-law Virginia Leccese and Ray Eller; his sister, Darlene Wilhelm; brother-in-law Gerald Wilhelm; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion Shadow Boy!

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. Reception will follow at the funeral chapel.
