FOOLS: Laughter was sorely needed

Your article on April Fools' Day about the tunnel from Coeur d'Alene to China was a hoot. I'll bet that was the talk of the town; I'm quite sure it was!

Overall, I thought it to be the best story of the year. We needed some humor; things have been too gloomy with all the hardships throughout the world. Hats off to you! I can say this was a wonderful morale booster - I got a real laugh out of it. Why, I don't even know if all that dirt could be removed in a day... laugh laugh laugh!

Now if you would get this spring weather all straightened up we'd be delighted and my golf game might even improve.
