Hannah M. Rhoades, 17

Hannah M. Rhoades, 17, of Post Falls, passed away April 3, 2011, in Post Falls. She was born Nov. 1, 1993, in Spokane to Robert (Nick) and Joanie (Balkcom) Rhoades.

She moved to Post Falls in 2000. She was a student at Project CDA after attending Post Falls High School.

Hannah loved life, her family and friends. She was an amazing human being. She enjoyed art, snowboarding, movies and shopping.

Hannah is survived by her parents, Robert (Nick) and Joanie Rhoades at home; her brothers, Andrew and Daniel Rhoades, and numerous animals at home; her aunts and uncles, Linda and Daniel Curtis of Everett, Wash., Garry Matlock of Spokane, Sue Foster of Spokane and Pat Balkcom of Spokane; her cousins, Mary, Jackie, David, Justin, John and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jacqueline Hannah Balkcom, George Rhoades and Peggy Harvard.

Contributions can be made to the Hannah Rhoades memorial fund at Washington Trust Bank.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, with a reception to follow in the chapel's reception center.
