Robert W. Williams

On the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, Robert (Bob) Ward Williams, of Boise, passed from this life and was greeted in heaven by his loving Lord and Savior, and committed at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in Boise on Jan. 31, 2011.

Bob was born and raise in Kellogg. After his graduation from Kellogg High School, in 1950, he attended the University of Idaho, ROTC program. Following Bob's graduation from the U of I, he completed his master's degree at the University of Colorado. Bob completed 20 years of service in the Air Force and retired in 1974 as lieutenant colonel.

He later worked for the Idaho State Insurance Fund for 18 years, as auditor for workers' compensation.

At 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011, a memorial service will be held to honor Bob at Mountain View Congregational Church in Kellogg. There will be refreshments and a time of fellowship and sharing after the memorial service.
