Vernon H. Reed, 41

| September 29, 2010 2:37 PM

On Sept. 25, 2010, Vernon H. Reed lost his battle with diabetes, due to have a kidney transplant, his heart could not take the stress and failed.

Vernon H. Reed III was born July 15, 1969, at Palomar Hospital in Escondido, Calif., where he lived until the 1990s moving to Oregon, returning to California, then moving up to which he said was the most beautiful place on Earth North Idaho.

He and his dad fished, camped and tubed the Coeur d'Alene River. He was looking forward to going bear hunting after his transplant. As his health failed, he would cook for all and had a special barbecue sauce which was some of the best!

Vernon did get to go fishing with his father and uncle Don Thomason. Vernon had many people who cared for him and came to his side. Bless all of you.

Vernon's wish was to be as happy as you can.

Goodbye my son. We loved you as much as life itself.
