MINNICK: Is he good for Idaho?

| September 29, 2010 12:37 PM

Rep. Walt Minnick claims to be good for Idaho. However, his current silence on a number of key topics seems to counter that claim.

First, he has been silent on the Obamacare Discharge Petition circulating through Congress and to date has not signed said petition. Second, he has remained silent on his position concerning HR4972 the bill to repeal the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act," aka "OBAMACARE. Third, he has remained silent on his position concerning the repeal of the "Bush Tax Cuts." To the best of my knowledge he did not sign the letter to President Obama by Democratic representatives "not to increase any taxes at this time."

All of these positions are strongly supported by his constituents in Idaho. Yet, Rep. Minnick remains silent. The question then becomes: is Walt Minnick truly BEST for Idaho? Idaho needs representation that truly supports the people of Idaho and not a political party's position.

On Nov. 2 we must band together to get real and true representation for the BEST interests of Idaho.
